Katherine Satorius

My writing has been published in Vol. 1 Brooklyn, ZYZZYVA, DIAGRAM, and the Los Angeles Review of Books, longlisted for the Dzanc Prize for Fiction, and shortlisted for the SLS-Disquiet First Novel Prize. A virtual-reality narrative for which I wrote the screenplay, The Surrogate, was a finalist for the 2016 SXSW Interactive Innovation Award. I've worked as an art gallery assistant, writing instructor, copyeditor at LACMA, and lately as both a freelance editor and technology recruiter for startup companies. I grew up in Minneapolis and have spent many years now in Los Angeles, where I live with my partner, who's a visual artist, and our daughter.
