Katherine Satorius
My writing has been published in Vol. 1 Brooklyn, ZYZZYVA, DIAGRAM, and the Los Angeles Review of Books, longlisted for the Dzanc Prize for Fiction, and shortlisted for the SLS-Disquiet First Novel Prize. A virtual-reality narrative for which I wrote the screenplay, The Surrogate, was a finalist for a SXSW Interactive Innovation Award. I have a BA from Northwestern in English and studio art and an MA in creative writing from Boston University. I'm originally from Minneapolis but have spent years in Los Angeles, where I now live with my partner, who's a visual artist, and our daughter, in a house backed by an overgrown garden on a steep hillside.
